Computer Society of India - Tiruchirappalli Chapter was formed in 1986 initially with 73 members. The membership has grown to over 900 members as on date. Our Chapter remains one of the most vibrant chapters in the southern part of the country. With the record number of activities and membership, the chapter has won 'Best Regional Chapter Award' many times. Many of our members have been awarded with the prestigious 'Significant Contribution Award' for their selfless and distinguished service to the society. The chapter has around 35 Student Branches and 26 Institutional Members in its fold. Our Student Branches have also won 'Best Regional Student Branch Award' many times. The Student Branch Counselors of our student branches have won the 'Best Student Branch Counselor Award' for their dedicated services. The Tiruchirappalli Chapter has been continuously enjoying the patronage of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Tiruchirappalli, Bharathidasan University Technology Park, Tiruchirappalli, Southern Railways - Golden Rock Workshop, Anna University, Tiruchirappalli, National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, M.A.M. College of Engineering, Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli and many other Institutions in and around Tiruchirappalli.
